QUALIFICATIONS


 

§    ND (Environmental Management) or equivalent  

§    3 years relevant experience in an industrial environment






EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS 


 

These qualifications above will be complemented by a proven track record in environmental management systems with special reference to ISO 14001. Excellent business and people management skills and the ability to pro-actively contribute to organisational goals and objectives within a multi-disciplinary team will complete the candidate's profile.

            

§  Extensive knowledge and experience  of environmental management

§  Environmental data interpretation with specific reference to rehabilitation scenario's ,environmental impact  assessments, environmental auditing and waste management

§  Stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively contribute to organisational  goals and objectives within a multidisciplinary team

 


JOB KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS


 

§  Adherence to and implementing sound Safety, Health, Environment, Quality standards

§  Drafting of legal documentation and reports

§  Continuous improvement 

§  Problem solving with multidisciplinary teams

§  Supporting the overall performance of the business area

§  Budget and cost control
