The Faculty of Science comprises ten Schools, including the School of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences, that addresses the theme  "The Biology of a Changing World: Conserving Biodiversity".  The School seeks to appoint a suitably, qualified candidate for a 50% Lectureship in Aquatic Ecology, with strength in marine systems.

Qualifications/requirements/criteria

Minimum qualification is a PhD in an appropriate field
Expertise in Aquatic Ecology, with strength in marine environments and an interest in sustainability issues.
Published research profile
Some experience in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision and related administration
Potential for Academic Leadership
Drivers License
