Dear Sir or Madam,
In 2013,**the Renewables Academy in Berlin offers scholarships for
various seminars on the *Market Development of Renewable Energy
Technologies*. All seminars are part of the project “TREE – Transfer
Renewable Energy & Efficiency”, which is funded by the German Federal
Ministry for Economics and Technology within the framework of the
Initiative “renewables – Made in Germany”. Attached you will find a
letter of support from the German Federal Ministry of Economics and
Technology.
The seminars combine three main subjects: theory, site visits to see
systems in operation and meetings with German companies. In the
theoretical sessions, participants will gain an overview of policy
instruments to accelerate the implementation of renewables in their
country. Another important part is sessions on project finance.
For more information on the content of the seminars, please click here:
_http://www.tree-project.de/seminars/_
The program is specifically designed for employees of official bodies
and administrations on all levels who are responsible for strategy
planning and implementation of renewable energy technologies, as well as
employees of financing institutions and companies active in industry
associations from the sector.
Applicants have to be residents of South Africa, Mozambique, Angola,
Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana or Russia.
