Subject: Applications open for Participation Programme at Trees for Zambia 2014

Dear Kevin Balkwill,

I am from Greenpop, a social enterprise that plants trees in Southern Africa and strives to make eco-consciousness accessible, fun and popular so that a greener, more conscious, inclusive movement is inspired. We are hosting our third Trees for Zambia Festival of Action<http://www.greenpop.org/projects/trees-for-zambia/> from the 15th June to 6th July 2014 where we will to plant thousands of trees in Livingstone, Zambia.

Apply for the Participation Programme:

We are looking for individuals and organizations who want to participate in an active teaching capacity at our Trees for Zambia Event in Livingstone. This is a festival where individuals and organizations from around the world have the opportunity to apply to Greenpop with a project, activation or workshop that helps with solutions to environmental challenges. Your ideas should be presented as a workshop which will happen during the 3-week event and will need to be in line with sustainability principals and integrate volunteers and community members.

If you and/or your department are interested or you know students who could be interested in applying to be considered for a free placement in exchange for doing a workshop on things like food farming, permaculture, fruit drying and enterprise development, bee keeping, renewable energy, up cycling crafts, education, drama education or any other idea related to environmental awareness and solution-based concepts, please apply<https://docs.google.com/a/greenpop.org/forms/d/1MGEKP1NG2QHbaS8VP7HiI76HkAhY0k_wpnc5rhtCUqY/viewform> now here to become one of our Participation Projects for 2014<https://docs.google.com/a/greenpop.org/forms/d/1MGEKP1NG2QHbaS8VP7HiI76HkAhY0k_wpnc5rhtCUqY/viewform> . We look forward to hosting a participatory event where learning is shared from all around the world..

It would be great if you could spread this email. Any participation would be TREEmendously appreciated.
