Subject: Ph.D., MSc. positions in Isotope Palaeoclimatology

Dear All

I am inviting post-graduate students to participate in a large project that aims to reconstruct past climates in southern Africa using tree ring isotope analyses. The objective is to obtain an annually resolved record from a number of locations that will allow a spatial/temporal reconstruction of climates that is suitable for palaeoclimate modelling.
The bursaries will be awarded using the criteria set out by the NRF which includes funding for foreign students that is competitive across the entire NRF research bursary portfolio.

Please advertise the appended note or pass it on to relevant parties that may be able to access suitable candidates.

Thank you

Stephan
