 Dear Sir/Madam
The Department of Medical Microbiology, School of Biomedical Sciences,College of Health Sciences, Makerere University is interested in getting PFGE equipment

We are a resource limited country who may not be able to carry out sequencing for the immediate needs of microbiology practice, such as investigating outbreaks in the hospital.

We shall be grateful if considered for the equipment. In the event that we are the successful candidates, may we also get the estimate of costs for shipment? This will enable us identify funding for the transfer of equipment.

Thank you
Yours faithfully
Najjuka C.F

Dear all,

PulseNet USA is presently doing an audit on their used PFGE equipment  - by the first week of November, they will come back to me with a list of available equipment and the weight of a complete PFGE package.

Priority will go to countries that presently don't have equipment.

Anthony
