I've always found it challenging to stay on top of the latest medical 
research. As a side project I got a group of friends together here at 
the university to develop http://medsubscriber.com

Our site with is free for anyone to use allows users to set a keyword 
they would like to be alert on when a new journal or study is published. 
If they keyword is found an email alert is sent out with a link to the 
abstract as well as the full journal entry. Users are able to set as 
many alerts as they like as well as how often they would like to be 
alerted.

Since we've started we've had over 5,000 signups from around the world. 
We are looking to improve this in anyway we can and welcome any 
suggestions you may have.
