Subject: [saabnet] NRF Green Economy Postdoctoral Fellowship

Background information:

The NRF has recently launched the NRF Green Economy Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2015 (note the Fellowship starts in 2015, not 2016). Prof. Richard Cowling and myself (Dr Alastair Potts) have a molecular biology (applied phylogeography) project that is a perfect fit for this call. We wish to attract a potential candidate with exceptional promise for this project. We will help provide the necessary information for the postdoctoral funding application for this fellowship. Please note that this is a call for an expression of interest regarding this project. Project funding to cover running expenses is available, as is the possibility of top-up position funding, but the onus will be on the applicant to apply for this postdoctoral position funding (with the help of the principle investigators).

Please see the attached document for further details.

Kind regards,
Alastair
