A reminder that the workshop 'African Studies in the Digital Age' continues. The full program can be found here:

Highlights for the next two days: 

** 'Whither the Archive?,' a panel featuring historian Keith Breckenridge and librarian Michele Pickover, starting at 1:30 today, in the Erlicher Room, North Quad. 

** '“The Political Virtues of the Imperial Archive: Burke, Milner and the Scandal of Empire”, a lecture with historian Keith Breckenridge, starting at 4:00 today in 4701 Haven Hall. 

** 'Hathi Trust at Michigan: A Special Briefing for Faculty, Staff and Students', a half-day seminar featuring Paul Courant, Mike Furlough, and Melissa Levine, all of whom have been involved in building, defining, and defending the HathiTrust project. Starts at 1:00 on Wednesday (tomorrow) in the Rackham Amphitheater. 

And lots more besides in the coming week-and-a-half.
